    Dr. Caroline Cummings-Singer

Dr. Cummings-Singer received her doctoral degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2021. Across her graduate training and clinical work since then, she has almost a decade-long experience with assessing and treating children, adolescents, and adults with a broad range of mental health concerns. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting comprehensive assessments for clients suspected of having attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disorder (LD), intellectual disability (ID), and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Dr. Cummings-Singer has a passion for gathering detailed information across a range of assessment procedures, including behavioral tasks, intellectual testing, academic achievement testing, structured clinical interviews, and self-report and other-report (e.g., caregiver, teacher) questionnaires, then consolidating all these data points to come up with a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan to best support clients’ progress forward. She strongly believes that without having all these crucial pieces of the puzzle, it is easy to miss out on key drivers of impairment. Notably, she enjoys working with families and individuals to identify key strengths—which everyone has, even if they do not know it!—and leveraging those to work on addressing areas for growth.

Outside of psychological testing and assessments, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She also is a huge movie buff!
