Luke Oaks, MS, LPC-S
I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and received a master’s degree in Counseling from Lubbock Christian University in 2015. I have experience in the mental health field since 2005 and have had the joy of working with youth in foster care, teenagers in high-risk situations, and adults undergoing life transitions. I enjoy working with individuals experiencing issues related to anger, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, and abuse. I incorporate aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and reality therapy.
Outside of the office I enjoy family game night, escape rooms, the occasional book or podcast, and spending time in the great outdoors.
