Erin Stokes, MA, LPC

As a dedicated counselor specializing in anxiety, depression and behavior challenges, I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals of all ages feel heard, understood and empowered. My approach integrates a combination of evidence- based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each child or individual. Through collaborative treatment, I help clients develop the tools they need to navigate difficult emotions and challenges, fostering resilience and emotional well- being.
My style is warm, relaxed and down to earth. I believe kids do their best when they feel safe, understood, and supported. I use a mix of play-based techniques, talk therapy and practical tools such as coping skills and routines to help kids feel more confident and in control of their feelings.
I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from Texas State University then went on to receive my Master of Arts in Counseling in 2017 from Wayland Baptist University.
Outside of the office, I enjoy home decorating, traveling to new places with my husband and spending time with our two dogs.
