Najuka Anderson, MA, LPC, NCC

When experiencing feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, and overwhelming worry it can feel as if there is a dark cloud hovering above. With the innovative use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ACT, Solution-Focused, Positive Psychology, and Humanistic, a Holistic approach can be created to help care for our bodies and minds. Knowing that we do not have to be controlled by our emotions and our thoughts can help us take back control of our lives. I believe that we all have an incredible power within ourselves to make the changes needed to fulfil our destinies.
I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Wayland Baptist University and I am currently a Doctoral Candidate at Texas Tech University in the Ph.D Counselor Education program.
I have 6 years of counseling experience working in various areas. I use empirically based skills and techniques to create a fun environment during the counseling process.
