David Allison, MEd, LPC-S

My personal and professional belief is that counseling helps individuals and families find more productive and effective ways to deal with life situations and problems. This often means that a client must make changes in the ways they think, act, and feel about situations in their life.
My therapeutic approaches are Cognitive-Behavioral as well as Trauma Focused. I believe your counseling is for you. When you invest yourself in the counseling process, you can experience the satisfaction of working successfully at some of the most important issues in your life. Counseling, therefore, can be both rewarding and challenging for those involved. As your counselor, I will be a member of your team and will help you address problems in your daily life.
